Welcome to our blog tour day #1!!!!!!!!!! *cues confetti*
A dream became a reality:
I get to kick it off, and I really want to just get honest: the other night I felt helpless. I am dealing with stress, headaches, and just the feeling of being out of control in these strange times. I needed hope. Then like He always does, God gave me just what I needed. This time it was an idea to do a few blog posts on hope. So I talked to my amazing friend Abby Elissa and asked her if she would like to do a guest post or do the same ‘hope posts’ on her blog. Long story short- Abby convinced me to do a blog tour. ❤ We threw this together, and with God’s grace this has become what it is. ❤ ❤ ❤
Everyone needs hope, and honestly, without Jesus, I would be hopeless. While working on this blog tour, God has given me even more to look forward to. Seeing all these amazing ladies spread their personal hope in Jesus has strengthened my resolve and given me deeper friendships. I am seeing the beauty that came from my sadness and stress.

So now I am going to get started!!
Bible verse:
Isaiah 40:31:
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
This verse is the verse I cling to in trials. It gives me so much hope. The thought that someday, if I keep holding on tight to the Lord, my strength will be renewed. Someday, I will soar on wings like an eagle. Someday, I will not be tired physically, emotionally, or mentally. ❤ I hope you find hope in this verse like I do. ❤
Song:
This. Song.
So there was awhile when every. single. time. I turned on the radio, this song was on. Finally I said: “What do you want to teach me Lord?” and here are the lyrics that stood out to me:
If we fall, we will fall together,
When we rise, we will rise together.
“Together” -For King and Country
Something that gives me hope is knowing that even if we are on the ground, we will do it together. In a world with so much separation and division, it brings peace to remember that we will be together as the church of Jesus Christ. It’s not an either or question. We will rise, and it will be together. As family. As friends.
Quote:
“Never lose hope. Just when you think it’s over…
God sends you a miracle.”
-Unknown
Wow…..that quote. I know it to be true. When I think the night or the storm of life will last forever, God brings something to my life to help me find joy. In the beginning of July, we had a family friend pass away unexpectedly, we had to miss my dear cousin’s wedding out of state, and my aunt was in the hospital. It was all very upsetting. But God loves to take our pain and use it for His purpose. While my aunt was in the hospital, my dad went and picked up my cousins, and they stayed with us for the 4th of July. Even through our tears, we had one of the most joy-filled 4th of July celebrations ever! Even in our sadness and pain, God gave us a reason to rejoice. He will give you a reason also. ❤
That’s it! I hope you all enjoyed my day! Are you all excited for the rest of the tour? I know I am!!!!

Honestly- it was hard even writing the last paragraph, I got a little tearful. It an awful month. However- God has let me heal. Even if it’s still sad, and painful, I know
“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” -Romans 8:28
It’s true. ❤
And if you need any prayer you can always comment and ask me not to publish it. Remember, I'm here for you all!!!! ❤

I heard “Together” again on the radio yesterday, and I got a different feeling than I’ve had listening to the song before. I always feel happy and motivated, and even excited to share events with fellow Christians, and get through them together. Yesterday’s feeling was different. I fely something that I didn’t want to feel. I felt anger. I was so mad at the world. So angry at Satan, but I realized that the anger was a passion. A passion to really rise with others together, and when we do fall, help lift each other up, whether it’s sharing Christ, or just helping someone out.
Anyway, thank you for sharing this song again. I honestly haven’t listened to it for awhile since yesterday, but yet again today, it’s mentioned again? Is that a God thing or what?
And sorry for the long comment😬

This is probably one of the coolest things I’ve seen on a blog before! So cool that you’re including other bloggers to praise God! This was such a good reminder to me! Thanks so much for doing this!
